Would you buy an Apple iCar?


An Apple board member has revealed that Steve Jobs had dreamed of creating an iCar before his sad demise in October last year after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer.Speaking at a Fast Company conference, Mickey Drexler stated that the car industry is a tragedy in America and Steve's dream was to design an iCar which would give the automotive industry the shake-up it required.

Italy based auto designer Liviu Tudoran has taken cues from the Apple products and designed a concept car called iMove for the year 2020.








Man survives plunge over Niagara Falls

A man survived a plunge of at least 180 feet over Niagara Falls in an apparent suicide attempt May 21. He is only the third person known to have lived after going over the falls without a safety device.

World's largest outdoor Pool

The Crystal Lagoon, located at the San Alfonso del Mar resort in Algarrobo, Chile, is the world's largest outdoor pool, stretching more than half of a mile and filled with 66 million gallons of water.

The Honda crotch rocket rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. The riders reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place. 


All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at the Motorcycle Fair by the Police and Road Safety Department..

Stuntman skydives 2,400 feet without parachute

Stuntman Gary Connery, wearing a specially developed wingsuit, jumped from a helicopter at 2,400 feet and successfully landed without the use of a parachute, near Henley-on-Thames, England on May 23.






Ancient seal unearthed in Jerusalem


Israeli archaeologists have discovered a 2,700-year-old seal that bears the inscription "Bethlehem," the Israel Antiquities Authority announced May 23, in what experts believe to be the oldest artifact with the name of Jesus' traditional birthplace.
