Lindisfarne, Northumberland, England

It is a tidal island off the north-east coast of England. It is also known as Holy Island and constitutes a civil parish in Northumberland. Lindsey means the 'island of Lincoln': it was surrounded by water and very wet land. Lincoln was in the south-west part of the kingdom. During the settlement of , from about 450, Lindsey was one of the lesser kingdoms.

A misty morning beside Loch Awe with views to Kilchurn Castle, Argyll Bute, Scotland. Kilchurn Castle was built in about 1450 by Sir Colin Campbell, first Lord of Glenorchy, as a five storey tower house a courtyard defended by an outer wall. By about 1500 an additional range and a hall had been added to the south side of the castle. Further buildings went up during the 16th and 17th centuries. Kilchurn was on a small island in Loch Awe scarcely larger than the castle itself, although it is now connected to the mainland as the water level was altered in 1817. The castle would have been accessed via an underwater or low lying causeway.

The Punch Bowl, Somerset, England

Wade and Wade, in their 1929 book Somerset, described the Devil's Punch Bowl as one of the most in Somerset in England, located about 5 miles (8.0 km) north-west of Dulverton. It is within the borders of the Exmoor National Park and around 10 miles (16.1 km) south-west of the coastal town of Mine Head. The village has two Hotels , both dating to before the start of the 16th century.

Awesome Retreat In the Mountains

The peak of Belukha mountain was considered to be one of those places on the planet through which the Earth receives the divine energy of the cosmos. Belukha Mountain is located in the Katun Mountains, is the highest peak of the Altai Mountains in Russia.It is part of the World Heritage Site entitled Golden Mountains of Altai.

Belukha is a twin-peaked mountain massif that rises along the border of Russia and Kazakhstan, just north of the point where these two borders meet those of China and Mongolia. There are several small glaciers on the mountain, including Belukha Glacier. Of the two peaks, the eastern peak (4,506 m, 14,784 ft.) is higher than the western peak (4,440 m, 14,567 ft.).

other social networking site, but it's still a pretty nice chunk of time

Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim all were buds from their

out by those fat cats over at Ebay, all the boys got bonuses. Sure, they

Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible unveiled

Bentley unveiled the new Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible, a chopped roof version of the GT Speed. Bentley claims that the open top with its high-spec 625PS engine will hit 0-100kmph in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed nudging 325kmph. It’s hard to believe these pictures are not photographs. They are pencil drawings made by Diego Fazio, a 23 year old self-taught artist living in Italy. Also known as DiegoKoi on Deviantart, Diego started off as a tattoo artist but eventually began drawing bodies instead of drawing on them. Each meticulously detailed portrait can take up to 200 hours to complete.

Yemen. North of Sana'a is a beautiful array of two Sahhar mountain (2306 m) and Mafluk (2215 m), and around - the green land of Wadi Vaara, famous for its mild subtropical climate. It also houses one of the main attractions of the northern part of the country - a village-fortress Shikhar (163 km north of Sanaa), located on top of the mountain height of 2160 meters, and therefore practically impregnable.

Over its long history of this place was the headquarters of the resistance forces and the Turks during the XVI-XVII centuries, and the headquarters of the Royalists during the Civil War of 60s. The village is actually made up of two parts, each of which is crowned with its own mountain peak.
